!WORKS!
While over the six weeks of Winter Break, Ghost Girl became the short film created with co-creator Cassidy Reagan.
Before coming home for Thanksgiving break, I spent a month creating and putting together the pre-production elements to THE LOST GH♂ST B♀I WORLD, that was created as my final for Image Design. In my brief visit back home, I spent two chaotic nights with my family, filming this entire short in Griffith Park.

In between two worlds, a desolate college student strains to connect with her world back home. Fighting off her deteriorating body's uncontrollable enthrallments, a transparent boi from afar becomes the only aspect of home she resonates with.
In this dark experimental short film, Kai, a 19 year old girl, comes home from her first semester of college to poignant reminders of internal displacements, finding herself disconnected with the world she used to call home. In this detached state, Kai is drawn to the darkness of reality and escapes in brief mesmerizing moments with an ambiguous boi from afar. Noticing him for the first time since high school, he becomes the only aspect of home she is transfixed with holding onto. Resonating with his invisibility, her body begins to dangerously externalize his internal suffering.
THE LOST GH♂ST B♀I WORLD

WRITTEN/DIRECTED/FILMED/EDITED
On verge of death, a lost kid
makes an escape from the ignorant world, in hopes of finding a respectful space before the benighted realm consumes them.
In a world where their identity is invisible, a 13 year old struggles with being seen. Without recognition, their body exhibits the internal decay of their being, externalizing the pain of being indiscernible. Exhausted with finding a space for themselves in the world, they ascends to the final place they feel free. However, A Man, representing the highest power in our world {older/ able-bodied/ cisgender/ straight/ white/ high class/ married/ man} is in close pursuit to destroy this ghost being. With A Man immediately behind, kid ghost must break free before they are devoured by the ignorance of the worlds misconceptions. This dark experimental short, brings awareness to the amount of endless pain a person holds when their identity is constantly being unseen.
From an early age I escaped into the cinema realms, creating scopes of stories and following them from the first moment I put them down on the page to the export of the final edit. Through studying and self-exploration I continue to gain better understandings of the vast film world and how I can strengthen my work in a collective, as well as individually. Working with a range of cameras, script writing systems, editing programs, and more, I continue to expand my knowledge through each project I am immersed in.
